Yoga Den Testimonials

Over the past few years, I have gotten to know Michelle as a personal training client, as a yoga instructor, and most importantly, as a friend. Michelle’s passion for yoga is evident inside and outside her studio. I was new to yoga when I began attending her classes, and she possessed the ability to make me feel comfortable and helped me adapt certain movements to accommodate my more muscular build. In conversation on a regular basis, Michelle’s passion for life and all things positive shine through. What more could anyone want in a yoga instructor? If you haven’t checked out her classes yet, do it…you won’t regret it!!

Michelle is an amazing yoga instructor! She challenges and encourages me through every move. I feel confident trying new poses knowing Michelle is supporting me every step of the way! She is enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable about her practice and wants every client to leave having the same enthusiasm. I love walking out of her classes feeling as though I have been challenged, worked, and stronger than when I walked in. She truly does make me enthusiastic about my practice!

I have worked with many different yoga studios, and Michelle far exceeds what I look for in an instructor. She exudes positivity and kindness, while bringing a perfect mixture of calmness and structure to an entire room full of people. She effortlessly differentiates her instruction for the novice and the experienced to ensure to everyone has had the best session possible. As a person, she is all heart. She truly cares about each and every one of the people around her, and I’ve seen firsthand how this transforms a room full of strangers into a community. Michelle is simply a natural at what she does. The yoga world is lucky to have her!

Yoga has become a special part of my life, thanks to Michelle! Her positive attitude and the way that she cares about each person in the room makes her teaching different from any other instructor I have ever seen. Not only does every class leave me peaceful, rejuvenated, and happy but I get the best workout of my life! Being a yoga instructor is not just a job for Michelle, she truly loves what she does and no matter where she’s teaching she makes her students feel at home. I have no doubt that as long as The Yoga Den has someone like Michelle running it, it will most definitely be a huge success!

I was introduced to yoga by my sister who tried to get me to try yoga for over a year. She would rave about Michelle saying how challenging, motivating, and supportive Michelle is as a teacher and how yoga was transforming her life. Finally I was convinced to give it a try and she was right! I instantly fell in love with both Michelle and of course yoga! Michelle and the other yoga den instructors are all amazing! Each one unique, inspiring, challenging and truly caring people. Yoga has continued to challenge me transforming my mind, body, and helping me grow as a person. I am so thankful for the gift of yoga it was just what I needed when I needed it most. Thank you Michelle and the other yoga den instructors…I’m hooked

I would like to thank Michelle Bucci for introducing me to hot yoga and for being a awesome instructor. From my years in the Marines, my lower back has always plagued me from long runs to conditioning marches with 120lbs backpack on. But after a few months of yoga and stretching under the instruction of Michelle Bucci my lower back pain is gone and I am able to train, compete and win big tournaments in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) without any lower back problems. If you’re looking for an awesome yoga workout and a serious, top-notch instructor whose passion for her trade shines through in every class, I highly recommend Michelle Bucci and The Yoga Den.

“Be Present”… two simple words that changed my life. My first yoga class was with Michelle back in October 2011. Being an avid runner and a creature of habit, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about yoga or trying something new. Michelle’s cheerful demeanor and soothing voice can put a bull at ease. She described each position with such detail, you knew exactly what your body should do. Although I was newbie that day, Michelle made my practice feel comfortable and familiar. Physically, I can’t say enough about the benefits. The heat will help you get deeper in poses, increasing your flexibility; while holding poses will increase your strength. Power yoga will definitely push your limits and will always challenge you. Once you’ve mastered a pose, there’s always a way to make it more difficult. When you are committed to your practice and work hard, as with anything, progress becomes addicting. Yoga is now part of my life, a very much necessary part of my life. It has a tremendous impact on me both mentally and physically. I’m not as anxious or stressed about the future, I am very much in the present, and I appreciate it. I always say that yoga is the most selfish thing that I do; I practice for myself.

Michelle has made my rediscovery of power yoga an amazing, mind-opening experience. The atmosphere at The Yoga Den is friendly and welcoming, and Michelle’s inner energy and attitude inspire me to continue to challenge myself without pressure. The time I spend practicing is a chance for me to pay attention to myself, but the effects of my practice are wide-reaching and transcend the mat into all aspects of my life. My sense of awareness has increased, my perspective has changed, and I am growing stronger mentally and physically. Michelle’s instruction has been instrumental in these changes. I would recommend her studio to anyone who is looking for not just a great physical workout but a way to bring focus and a calming sense of presence to one’s life.

“Don’t take it personally.” This is something that I always heard from one of my mentors in my teaching career. It is important to learn this skill when dealing with parents, administration, and co-workers. Yoga has always helped me to tune out other people’s static and noise and to see people for what they actually are.Being present is something that I am reminded of when I go to the Yoga Den. I am me and I get to work on myself. This helps me to be present for my students. Michelle creates a welcoming environment that makes it safe to challenge yourself or take an accommodation for a move your are not ready for yet. Thank you Michelle, Tasha, Nicole, and all of the Yoga Den instructors that I have not worked with yet. The attention to detail and care of the people that come to the Yoga Den is very evident.
